If you ask a shop to do it they will but with rims that size it is a tough call, if you have the cash i recommend winter specialty tires or snow tires.

If you saved the stock rims you could mount snow tires with studs put in them and would not need the chains. Then you could run them in the winter and change back to the 26″ rims in the spring.

So I’m guessing you don’t have any money for a set of “take offs” from another EXT??? Come on man…I know you wanna stunt that’s cool and all. But would you f*ck up your painted wheels for some snow???
Who cares if you sittin anyway in a brand new EXT (and by the way…that’s FIGH) on some regular snow tires, run arounds, etc.? Point I’m tryin to make is, go ahead and hell, throw some rally’s on that mugh for now…but when it warms back up BAM! throw them 6′s back on that thang and make em count the lugs.

As a matter of fact I just did some searching…http://cgi.ebay.com/New-26×12-00-12-Garden-Tractor-Snow-Tire-Chains-2-Link_W0QQitemZ280269276637QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item280269276637&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A317%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

That’s right…you might have to put some tractor chains on yo ride…but you might have to wrap them in some hot wing paper or something to keep from scratching your wheels.

Your best bet would be to forget the chains all together. With large painted rims its not a good Idea. Best bet would be to put some stockies with snow tires on for the winter. In addition, painted rims tend to not like salted roads. Its like driving on a gravel road. You will end up ruining them.

Your worried about your rims getting nicked, yet your driving them in the snow/salty roads.

find some steelies/stockers and rock the snow tires or stock tires with chains.

My friend takes off his 24′s and puts the stock 20′s with all train tires back on when he need to go in snow or something like that.
