Buying Your First Bentley? What To Expect From These Formidable Vehicles

Every since Bentley first began producing cars almost 100 years ago in 1919, partly on the back of their success as aeroplane engine manufacturers, they have had a desire to develop cars that are that bit more luxurious than any other car manufacturer on the planet.

Whichever Bentley you look at over the past 91 years, it may look slightly aesthetically different to another of the company’s vehicles, but it will carry exactly the same details – beautiful looks, high quality finishing and everything you would expect of a car from the highest end of the car manufacturing industry.

Bentley’s don’t come cheap, but what you get for your money is nothing short of awe-inspiring. If you’ve decided that you’re going to head down to Bentley dealers in the UK and look at the various models that they currently have to offer (for which there are several basic models and hundreds of different combinations when looking at the trims and additional extras), there are various things that you should expect.

Firstly, everything is just that little bit better. Car manufacturers like Ford and Toyota may produce some world class cars that are loved and adored all around the globe, but they are all mass produced as they’re aimed at the larger market, generally being affordable to everyone. As Bentley dealers only sell cars that require for a certain amount of money to be held, although they are instantly restricting their audience, they ensure that they everything on their vehicles is of the highest quality.

For example, in most mass produced cars, the standard car seat material is a hard wearing cloth, something that is relatively cheap to produce but looks OK for the vehicle. Take a look inside the new Bentley GTC, however and all you will find in terms of seat materials are the highest quality northern European hides, all of which are hand-stitched. Bentley also explain that the same hides are used for their steering wheels, which take around 5 hours of hand stitching to be covered in the material.

It’s also worth realising that as you’re going to be paying, on average, over 100,000 pounds for a Bentley, don’t expect anything other than the ultimate in modern automobile technology. Bentley’s may be quite distinctive and traditional in their appearance, but inside they are packed with the latest technology.

The Arnage Final Series, for instance, is available with DVD players with some of the best audio systems around, whilst the options to have a cocktail compartment and wine cooler are also made available.

Make a visit to Bentley dealers and there’s no doubting that you’ll be blown away by the sheer elegance of all of the company’s vehicles. These cars are without doubt at the highest end of automobile luxury and if you can afford to pay for a Bentley, drive around in it for only one or two days and it is guaranteed that you will find it extremely difficult to settle for anything less in the future.
