SAAB 95

It was a spacious 7-seater station wagon which had only two doors. It is said to be inspired by the good old SAAB 93 sedan. This model was introduced in 1959, but only 40cars were manufactured in the first year. So, it is said to be introduced in 1960 many a times. It had a 841 cc, 3-cylinder engine initially, but later it came with a four stroke, four speed transmission ford Taunus engine.

SAAB 900

The classic SAAB 900 was based on Saab 99, but this one had a longer front end to meet the US frontal crash regulation. It was introduced in four variants.

SAAB 9000

The 9000, Saab’s first executive car, was released in 1985. It was replaced by the Saab 95 in the fall of 1997 for the 1998 model year. It was based on the Type Four chassis, a platform shared with the Fiat Croma, Lancia Thema and Alfa Romeo 164.
