I was thinking about getting one of those more expensive uni-blade wipers (Bosh Icon etc), but then I checked Consumer Reports and these basic Ancos are rated just as good and for less money.

So far, they wipe like a champ!

Excellent deal. Did not have to go to the store. Saved time, effort and money. What more?

If you are going to change wipers once or twice a year, I found the cheap ones are plenty good enough. The teflon blades and other fancy blades are not good enough to justify their much higher price. I think the difference in performance is minimal if any. Can you tell which wiper you have by looking only at how it performs? I found that you can tell old from new if the old ones are really old but that’s it. I hate going to the auto parts store to look up wipers in a book or electronic device, then being unable to find your wiper on the shelf because it is not stocked or the item is sold out or the price is outrageously high. At Amazon, you can find the part, check to see if it will fit your vehicle, find the price, and compare the prices all in the comfort of your computer station at home. These Amazon prices are way cheaper than the local auto parts store plus Amazon delivers. I bought three sets of ANCO 31 series wipers (I have three different vehicles.) for $35.25, shipping and handling were included. At the auto parts store, you would be lucky to get one set of wipers for that price. Just don’t wait until you have a broken wiper that requires immediate replacement.

I was afraid these blades would be cheap and/or plastic given the low price. However based on the positives reviews here and elsewhere, I picked them up, and am pleased. They’re made of metal and look quality. Even a noob like me had the blades swapped out on my 2008 Mini Cooper in a matter of minutes. I was very happy too that I did not need one of the several provided adapters to install them, they fit perfectly as-is. I’ve only had one big rain since buying them, but they seem to work great. I am having some loud skipping noise but I think that’s my dirty windshield and not the blades.

For the price, these replacement blades are unbelievable. They work fine, and I can buy three for the price of one around here. Nothing fancy, but simple replacement blades at a great price. Plus, you can get to the free shipping threshold too (these qualify). It’s all good.
