Eventually, these worked to remove the factory installed DIN radio in my Ford Focus. They bent way too easily though. Many times I had to pull them back out, bend them back in shape, and try again. Like I said though, they did eventually get the job done. The similarly priced item at Wal-Mart works better, and doesn’t bend.

I used these to remove my factory DIN radio in my Ford and it worked 100%, saved me a huge hassle of creating a removal tool with wire hangers, plus these are made in America unlike the Scosche ones made in China.

This radio removal tool got the job done, but it was rather difficult because the tool was not as study as I was expecting. After removing the radio, it was quite the task to remove one of the tools from the radio itself because it was so bent. Essentially, this was only good for one use.

I just followed the simple advise I found in these reviews and the two radios I wanted to exchange were extracted from their respective cars. It took less than a minute each. What makes these better than a home made coat hanger version is the special tips which click into place so you know you’re ready to put presure toward the center and extract the radios.
