I was looking for a small portable Presta pressure gauge without needing to use an adapter. This gauge is nice in that it holds the pressure reading until you clear it. At first I couldn’t get a reading with it but learned you just have to press a little harder on the valve to get the reading.

This gauge works great. I have had it only for a few weeks but it has a solid hefty feel like it will be the last bicycle tire gauge that I will ever have to buy unless I drop it from more than a few feet and even then it might still be ok (I’m not going to try this). It is easy to read the numbers. The push button bleeder valve is nice. The package does not say where it was made but it appears to be a decent quality item.

This is a great, sturdy little gauge for bicycle tires. I carry it in my under-seat pouch. The dial is much smaller than I expected, larger than a quarter, smaller than a half-dollar, and I say that as a positive thing! I understand there are rubber protective rings you can buy to go over the dial, but I have not been able to find one yet. Fortunately, the gauge seems sturdy enough that I haven’t worried about it, though I’m careful not to drop it.

This is a fine addition to any cyclist’s road pouch.
