These four bonnets are all made of 100% cotton terry cloth bound with durable elastic. They fit snugly over a 6 lambswool leveling pad. Use this pad on a 5 or 6 backing plate on a dual action polisher only, such as the Porter Cable 7424. When applying or removing a product, reverse the bonnet when it becomes heavily saturated. Do not use the same pad to remove wax and polish. Applying waxes and polishes by hand is tedious business. If youve got a polisher, you might as well get the most out of it. For product removal, nothing works better than a Terry Cloth Bonnet over a lambswool pad. In this 4 pack, these bonnets are a steal! Terry cloth is ideal for product application because the fibers are longer than those on a microfiber bonnet. The longer fibers are less likely to become caked with thicker waxes and polishes. Cotton is naturally soft and gentle on your paint or clear coat. It will not produce swirls or scratches. Using a polisher will allow you to apply products more evenly and remove dried products more efficiently than you could by hand.
