2011 Mercedes-Benz C300 Sport Start and Tour
Do I have quite a NICE car to show, and a week old one too! In keeping with the trend of red on black cars, this is my classmate’s new 2011 C300 Sport he just got. It features an optional panoramic sunroof, new for that year LED running lights, LED integrated mirror turn signals, full command system, and sport wheels. The car is PHENOMENALLY well built and everything closes and opens with a loud thud. Makes the equivalent aged BMW 3-series feel like fancy plastic. The seats are firmer and more durable than the Lexus IS’s seats, but are MUCH softer and nicer quality than the seats in the 3-series and Audi A4. The owner kindly gave me a tour of the Command System and being the car enthusiast he is, gives pointers on features. Overall a phenomenal car.

@gonzzam84 Well if you don’t like the video then do one yourself and then send me the link so I can admit my shortcomings. But frankly, your video variety is looking very poor indeed.

@boycharger1 You know, I was REALLY surprised that it didn’t beep. It sounds like a cheapy Cadillac or Chrysler rental car when it honks. I have no idea why this one honked. It didn’t have keyless go, though. But earlier year C300s without keyless-go beep when you unlock them. Very strange. I guess it was something Mercedes changed on non keyless-go C-classes for the 2011 model year. I wonder if base 2012 C-classes do the same thing too.

@jrtwothreeninesix They are sexy and they feel solid and ride well, I would seriously consider test driving it out and feeling the interior. You don’t get as much standard equipment as you do in the IS, and the owner’s brother has an IS250 and he said that even with the sport package the C300 is no where near as sporty a drive as an IS. Also the interior is comfy but the plastics are not as nice quality as the IS250′s. BUT the C300 is faster than an IS250, and rides a little smoother than a 328.

this car is sexy as hell. i drive a lexus is250 but every time i see one of these i stare at it lol, I’m seriously considering trading it in. these cars are sex on wheels!

@karbine409 Glad to hear, and congrats. That V6 sounds and accelerates a lot like BMW inline 6. That smooth surge and even power delivery.

@karbine409 Oh well, I bet you are gonna enjoy that C300. I think the only car in the compact executive class with a handbrake is the BMW 3-Series.

@karbine409 OK, I just found some coincidences. I read on your channel comments board that you said you were Armenian. Your channel pic is of a white mustang with go fast stripes and you are from LA. I have a friend who is Armenian from LA and he had a white 2008 Mustang GT with go fast stripes. But he is from Glendale. Just some coincidences, that’s all. I am from the city of San Diego and have always lived here.

@karbine409 Yep, but they stopped making them in 2000 so hard to find with low mileage. Steel gray is nice. I take it from your profile you like white Mustangs as well. And you are from the Glendale and Burbank area?

@karbine409 The Lexus SC300. It is RWD, has a handbrake, and the 2JZ-FE 3.0 inline 6 from the Toyota Supra. Endlessly tunable and great for drifting. Sweet. Is yours gonna be in white? Are you in the LA county area.

@karbine409 Yeah, I know. Gay, though? More like lame. You can’t pull off handbrake turns. You need a BMW 3-series for that since it has a handbrake. But again, the Lexus IS has a footbrake. Maybe that is why the SC300 caught on.

@husseinhulk I keep telling people this. YES IT IS A 2011! The US market is 1 production year behind Germany and the rest of Europe. So we don’t get the new bodystyles until 1 year after the rest of Europe.
