@jacoale mkx has bigger engine, air condition seats, heated steering wheel, adap headlamps, adap cruise control, rides alot more quiet and smoother., 12 way power passanger seat, heated rear seats, 14 speaker audio system, lincoln come with 4 years free maintenance. and at the end of the day, the name as well.

Why on earth would you make something like that control center so complicated – and thus causing more people to focus on it instead of the road – when people that drive these vehicles already have a hard enough time paying attention to the road when they are also on their cellphones talking up their next big planned community town meeting or their next corporate acquisition or promotion?

@giannial1985 yeah, my explorer was a hand-me-down from my step mom. and i know what you mean ive driven a tahoe, and a ram but none compare to ford to me my step mom now has a 2010 mountaineer (mercury) and i know that will last another 20 years+. and i know my 91 will last too.

@txprodigy95 That’s great and I know right? I see lots of old Fords still going. I myself have my mothers old 99 Escort. Very well taken care of. Everything works fine. Sure, a little thing will go here or there, but it’s normal. I’ve been in GM cars and Chrysler cars. In fact, my mom has owned all three American brands. The Ford brand has given her the most reliability. She has a 2010 Fusion now.

@giannial1985 i have one of the ford explorers that were first introduced in 1991! nothing has been changed, just maintenance. i dont understand why people say ford wont last when the explorer is one of the most common vehicles on the road today ranging from 91 to 2011. ill be ford/mercury/lincoln forever.

this guy has no idea what hes talking about. Everything negative he said were very very minor things. & his comments on the touch screen– wth? i have this car and my touch screen is fast and easy to use. I think he’s not very good with technology. Cars.com needs to get someone who knows what their talking about instead of this dumbass. The car is great though, i would say better than any foreign competitor.

I love it when people say that this will break down in two months. Ford’s quality and reliability matches Toyota and Honda’s. It’s been proven. Stop dwelling in the past people. Btw, I love the looks of the MKX.

CHALLENGE!!! Close your windows, set your climate control to 70, set to automatic.
Drive, do not touch any settings or fan- note the fan speed and the internal change in temp. If the temp outside is above 90 the interior will not cool below 80, The fan will start on high and decrease to med-low and remain.If the temperature outside is cold below 30 the fan speed starts and stays at med to low and does not change. The interior temp will increase to 80. If your experience is different please post.

@crackaddict444 Hardly a refresh, that would imply no mechanical changes and in this case, cabin electronic changes as well. Refresh is more like body trim changes.

I own one and will never give it back, love it! And the MyLincoln Touch system is great but you need to spend sometime with it to understand how to use it with voice and the steering wheel controls.
