@youraveragemat Yeah, or if you save enough money for like 6 to 12 months for 10% – 40% down payment, and assuming you don’t have any other financial commitments (e.g. home loan, family expenses, education loan etc), then your monthly instalment would not be much of a burden. That said, I am assuming a monthly salary of somewhere between RM4000 – 5000. But most graduates still normally get basic salary of RM2000++.

@youraveragemat RM125,000?! Wow, where do you get that figure? The price of Prius is actually RM139900 in Peninsular Malaysia, a bit expensive in Sabah/Sarawak. But in Labuan or Langkawi is somewhere around RM127,000. Govt already exempt tax for hybrid cars since 2010.

my wife and i got stuck behind a prius once in the city, pissed me off. we were on a tandem, pulling a kid trailer, lol.

@lufthansa330pilot its RM125,000 in my country’s currency. it sucks but it seems only rich people could afford prius in my country. most of us drive stupid cheap malaysian/ chinese cars.overworked. underpaid. sucks being in third world country
