2010 Kia Sedona Quick Tour, Start Up, & Rev With Exhaust View – 26K
2010 Kia Sedona This has a 3.8L DOHC V6 making 244 HP, while paired to a 5 Speed auto. This generation Sedona way better than the 1st generation which was just horrible in every way. The interior in this van is quite low rent overall, tho it is roomy & the seats were comfortable for the most part. Many surfaces were rough, sharp, & hard. Other components felt cheap & flimsy. I also disliked the Climate & radio control buttons & its layout which looks dated & feels cheap to the touch. One thing I always notice with this 3.8L Engine is how unrefined they sound at startup. Cold Starts sound sloppy & hot starts like after a long drive. Also on the high end, the engine does sound a bit grainy.

@angeredsmile2 Yea just realized that. Sedona is still in production until 2012, and I would recommend it before buying a Cara-crap van.
@talldude123 they have not made the Entourage for a couple years
after watching a bit longer, ours is much nicer and softer with many more extras than this one. I love comparing vehicles interesting stuff
The Hyundai was a bit more cushy and nicer than the Kia. We own the Entourage with all the extras.
Crap, i got punchy. I neither like or dislike… meh. The second gen Sedona is a better driving vehicle than the first. Steering, ride, handling, space, interior space– all improved. If you drove this, you’d note the torque steer to the left at WOT for the 1-2 shift. In all the second gens I’ve driven, that was a trait. We do own one, and I agree on the nasty sound at start-up. Even our Sonata 3.3L has a noisier engine than I expected. Thing is, a lot of cold engines don’t sound nice.

@talldude123 the new Carvans are nice though, but i would rather buy another Sedona before I would buy a Caravan
@uakronsam116 I hope they don’t discontinue these vans. They really need to discontinue those dying, failing, Dodge Caravan’s. They are trash!
@talldude123 actually that has not yet been confirmed for the US, they said they wouldn’t produce it anymore after 2012 overseas somewhere, LOL so we will see.
@90Mrknowitall This one does look like a Toyota interior. The earlier generation was alot better.
@uakronsam116 They’re not going to make the Sedona anymore after 2012. Same goes for Entourage, unforunately. These vans were really good in their first generation. Decent quality compared to the competitors (maybe aside from Honda)
@Intechdude300 yeah but really they aren’t that bad of minivans considering the price of them. I do agree though that the interior of my 2005 Kia Sedona is a lot better feeling than the 2010, but the appearance of the interior of the 2010 is better than the 2005 for sure.

The Sedona and Entourage interior materials feel and are exactly the same, i hope they redesign the Sedona soon though, because I am sure they can make a fabulous minivan, especially after the good designing of their latest vehicles.

Kia really needs to keep up if they’re going to continue to sell this thing againt the Town & Country, Grand Caravan, Odyssey, Sienna, and Routan.
