My parents bought this car to me half years ago, it costs around 60,000 GBP, really nice and cool, I love it very much.

@alwoo100 that’s the STS-V …this car is the SLS …(Seville Luxury Sedan) …They never made an SLS-V but the SLS looks more luxurious than an STS you would buy here in the U.S. especially the backseats in the SLS have more features than the other Cadillac sedans

the styling is pretty dated

But its too late. And the irony? Cadillacs fall to BMW because Cadillacs aren’t for the thrusting young executive. Rover got overtaken by BMW for luxury cars for middle classes. Rover had to look to BMW for financial backing, and STILL fell apart even after a facelift.

The same theory applies for Cadillac: they may have been good for the yesteryear’s crowds, but it got old, and now it’s time to past the baton. Ford’s passing their baton to Honda; General Motors is giving to Toyota; and Cadillac’s handing it off to BMW.

My take on the cts-v is that it wouldn’t have been here if it weren’t for the BMW M Power. So Caddy followed in someone else’s footsteps, rather than their own because they couldn’t come up with new ideas, and therefore the cts-v is a generic brand of performance car. Caddy may make some good luxury, but should never have bothered in the performance car section.

He also drove the CTS-V. He liked its speed, POWER, and handling. But he hated its expensive price tag for a car that hasn’t gained popularity, the cheapness of the materials used to build it, and the car “bongs” at him for everything. So no, Clarkson DOESN’T hate American cars, just the shitty ones.

He says that because we’re capable of building Space shuttles, land on Mars, build Boeing 747s, fighter planes, and so on, so why can’t we build a decent car? Clarkson drove a couple of Corvettes, likes them and bought himself a ZR-1. He also bought a US-made Ford GT, modeled after the GT40. It broke down on him several times.

This guy really dislike cadillac. when you look at the price of cadillac you gotta remember that the price doesnt include the taxes yet when merc and bmw are here taxes is already put in.. the only reason ctsv beat everyone prices because the motor is all chevy a pushrod if that was a northstar that car would have well over 100k… And dont be mad because escalade is a hot seller of suv not one pos bmw or merc suv can top that
