That thing with the mallet seems like the last thing you’d want to do when you’re trying to sell a car… >.>

@libbyloula11 hahahaha dude, lumina van sucks 120hp is not enough. 3800 v6 is ok.

I had a 1991 Lumina Mini-Van I inherited from my Mom… That thing would do a wicked burn-out and was awesome for hauling my band’s gear… Earned me the nick-name of “Soccer-Mom-Shingleton”

lmao it’s still an ugly car

@dfitch81
Couldn’t disagree more! I have a 95 that looks and feels like a brand new minivan and the “then” futuristic style, did not get old like the boxy competitors did. “Today’s” minivans look all the same! Personally ,I have no problem parking my minivan! All around, a wonderful minivan!

My neighbor has a 1990 Chevy Lumina APV like this… except its white.

6:04 Oh only in america will you need a “high and wide clearance” into the rear passenger compartment LOL!

Although slightly different, those seats evolved all the way until the end of the Venture/Sillhouette/Montana. I use the 01 we had for example. The release mechanism changed slightly, not sure what else but thats the only one I think of.

@shodanxx You are right my aunt bought one new and still has it and took great care of it but it costed more to fix then to buy

shodanxx says in December 31st 2010 at 6:29 am

@85ZingoGTR
it’s only redeeming feature was the plastic bodywork, but that cost WAY too much to produce, I have 6 of them, I paid like 200$ each, ABS always dies, shock towers and driver side floor always rusts, front door handle often break, the exhaust doesn’t last more than 10 years and the winding is a rock magnet and costs 700$, also the paint gets sandblasted over time and the power steering line often leak they are a bitch to change and the engine under the dash is hard to work on

@dfitch81 every car has its friend and its foes.

dfitch81 says in December 31st 2010 at 6:43 am

As a former hospital valet, I’ve driven almost everything out there. GM’s dustbuster minivans were always among my least favorite things to park – it’s nearly impossible to tell where the front corners are inside of tight parking structures. All around, these vans are truly awful crap.

bajabusta says in December 31st 2010 at 7:42 am

@quirpco no clue honestly.

quirpco says in December 31st 2010 at 8:34 am

@bajabusta Seriously? That’s awful.

outragecakstop says in December 31st 2010 at 9:02 am

It may be resistant to stone chips, but not pressure washers. Learned that one the hard way.

bajabusta says in December 31st 2010 at 9:59 am

@belp23 don’t worry. He’s dead.

belp23 says in December 31st 2010 at 10:05 am

I dont really trust this guy…

85ZingoGTR says in December 31st 2010 at 10:21 am

“It’s dramatic styling makes a boxy vehicle like Dodge Caravan look like, yesterday news.” Yet the Caravan is still being produced and this piece of $hit bit the dust in 1996.
