in 84 chrysler brought in 2 new steering wheels and a load of new options from factory! new hubcaps-Trim …ETC…its kinda ridiculous for me to know little things like like but i have Loved these cars for years and have noticed! Boy i sure would Loved a 1983 or an 84-85 600/caravelle ….i had an 88 600 2.2l Turbo ! man what a fun car! i loved it !! what a Great and Fast car! wish i still had it!!

Now this was one of my favorite cars from this Era! i loved the K-cars and the other luxurious upscale cars on the K platform!! these were truly Great cars! they saved chrysler from bankruptcy! i saw an 84 dodge 600 the other day and a 84 reliant K! i stopped to look at both! i almost bought an 84 caravalle (2.6l Mitsubishi) ..i still want one today! Note that yes this is an 84 model! the 83,s lacked the wrap around Rear tail-lamps! and the 1983 models had different steering wheels!

My grandpa bought an ’84 600 brand new with turbocharging and all the power accessories except the digital dash and the EVA system. It remained in showroom condition (my mom got it 14 years later and she was asked by a friend “Didn’t he ever drive it?!”) until we were involved in a hit and run which left a pretty good sized crunch in the front right fender. Very nice car, I miss it. My mom was actually afraid to drive it b/c of “all the computers” lol.
