1969 Ford Mercury Cougar XR 7 with over 500 HPS!

Mine had a fight with a couple of tree’s going 120 mph and lost… I miss that car I will have another someday…. Stupid things ya do when your young…. But i survived and with no seat belt…. only had a lil cut above my nose from the windshield shattering

this thing is Amazing, Ford had it perfect when they made this car,, WHAT HAPPEnED?? i almost shit when merc tried to re-invent the cougar in 1999 with that FWD econo shitbox!! that car was as bad as their attempt at the ” MUSTANG 2″ in the mid 70s

What a beauty… the color, the vinyl roof, the proportions. Incredible design. Ford made the very best muscle cars, hands down.

Very nice. I was looking at one like this with a 302 windsor last week brought over from the states to OZ Price $30,000-$40,000 . Classic American muscle cars are much sought after here.

This is a very nice and powerful nd beautiful muscle car, one thing tho. My dad owns the same one with a sunroof but his doesnt have the white design. I think my dads looks bettr. He also has a 69 cougr eliminator that’s built. Nd my car that’s a murderd out 67 cougar

Camaro and Firebird were clones! The Cougar looked nothing like the Mustang, although they shared many undercarriage components, Cougars being more tightly screwed together. Major selling feature for the Cougar was it’s long list of standard equipment. No six cylinder engines, only V-8′s from the basic 2 barrel 289, up to the six barrel(three little deuces)289 with solid lifters, then the top engine for 67″, the 390 Thunderbird engine at 320 horsepower, fitted with an 850 Holly Carburetor.
